1 pound lean ground beef (yes its healthy)
1/4 cup brown sugar (maybe not)
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce (healthy again)
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
4 white rice servings
Use a large skillet on medium heat to brown the hamburger meat with garlic and sesame oil. While that's going on, go ahead and begin to boil water for the rice. After the meat is brown, drain all the fat off you can. Add brown sugar and soy sauce. Let simmer. Finish and plate the rice. Serve meat on top of rice. Enjoy!
1 Pound of Ground Beef (dealers choice on the grade)
8 ounces of dry pasta shells
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
1 cup of Ragu Traditional sauce
1 packet of your favorite taco seasoning
Salt to taste (pepper optional)
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook pasta as the directions on your box say to. When you drain the pasta, be sure to save 1/2 cup of the water and set it to the side.
While you have your pasta in the boil, go ahead and get a large skillet. Cook the ground meat over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Once the meat has been cooked, drain off the excess fat and mix in the minced garlic. Cook for about thirty seconds. Its time to mix in the taco seasoning and the sauce. Let that simmer over medium heat for about five minutes. Is it smelling good? By this time you should be getting hungry so lets add the pasta and the water you saved from the pasta. Stir this lovely mix until everything seems to be blended in harmony. Season it with salt (pepper optional) and plate it. Make sure to put the cheese on this dish while hot so it can melt right on top of the food. You are ready to enjoy. If you have less picky diners you can always have all the nasty fixings on the side!
